This pot is beautiful! So different looking then just a plan silver metallic type. The pot is coated all over with ceramic non stick coating that works GREAT ! I tested the pot out by boiling a dozen eggs, I poke a hole in each egg and the insides do leak usually sticking to the pot and I have to scrub. Well I can honestly say the non stick works and it works WELL !! Cleaning the pot was easy nothing stuck. The water boiled quickly . The glass lid is beautiful the rim is coated in rubber so you get a extremely well fitting seal. With the lid being glass I was able to see with ease that my eggs were all floating to the top . I am in LOVE with this pot. Every kitchen need this pot. Makes a great gift that will be appreciated and used.
